Chicks in Bowls Vertex Wheels take your skating to new heights. These tall and hard wheels are designed to maintain motion and achieve maximum speed to hit new vertical heights. It's no secret you want a hard wheel for skating parks and ramps, but when you're taking your skating to new heights, you need a wheel that will increase your velocity.

The Vertex wheel is designed for big bowls and vert ramps to sustain energy and drive speed.

"Skaters have a need for more speed and height and the Vertex wheel is the answer. Our signature edge shape and refined contact point ensure that you're still able to slide and grind with ease. The CIB skate team has been loving these wheels.

Carve, air, stall, slide, and grind higher than ever before!" -Lady Trample - CIB Founder

    Smooth and fast skatepark wheels

Posted by Olivia on 9th Dec 2020

Coming from derby where I was skating on 98 - 103 wheels but am new to skateparks, I found these are agile and fast on sticky ramps and half pipes. They have a bit of a slide on skatelite but are still stable and exceptionally smooth. Like the other reviewer I did find putting in bearings a little harder but doable. If a new skatepark is more slippery and unfamiliar, I'll try my new Fundaes first but ultimately would love to get up to speed with the Vertexes. Also thank you for patiently answering all my questions and helping me make the right choice, Lesley!

Love these wheels! But bearings are tight

Posted by Wave on 20th Jul 2020

I LOVE these wheels! I have been park skating on Fundaes for a few months and decided to upgrade to Vertex wheels to get more height and versatility in the park, and wow, what a difference! I notice the biggest difference on the wood ramps in my area, but it's noticeable on the concrete parks, as well - my runs are smoother and faster and I feel like I have more agility with these wheels since they're not sticking to the ground in this 30-40 Celsius heat! The only downside is that it's really hard to pop the bearings in and out of these wheels. This isn't a huge deal because it's still possible, but to pop them in, I need to tighten the nut all the way to click them in place, then loosen them to the proper tightness. Then taking them out just takes a bit more effort/maneuvering. Just an observation, but wouldn't deter me from recommending these to anyone wanting a more aggressive park wheel.
