Long lasting for hard use
I bought these same pivot cops a year ago and haven't yet had to replace them. I just want extras on hand for if and when I do need new ones. But my current cups have endured derby training, outdoor distance skating, skate park, and crusty winter skating. They can take a beating and last a long time. Bad Girlfriend has been great about getting these shipped to me quickly so I can get out on the concrete again. :)

These stand up well to a lot of use
I've ordered these pivot cups twice exactly a year apart to give you an idea of how long they last. And I've been doing a lot of outdoor distance skating, skate park, and derby training so they can take a beating. However, apparently there's two types when ordering these. A SureGrip and a generic Riedell brand. It's the SureGrip ones that fit my Riedell Powerdyne Thrust Nylon plates. They look exactly like the photo. Those are the ones I received in my first order and that lasted a year. In my second order I got 4 SureGrip IN305 and 4 Riedell cups for some reason. The Riedells don't fit in my plate sockets and the cup is too wide for my trucks' spike. They do not look like the photo at all. They're a thin, shiny plastic. The Riedell ones feel like they'd break easily with hard use, unlike the thicker and sturdier SureGrip cups. --------------------------------------------- In 2020 Riedell changed the pivot cups as the truck on the Thrust plate is now wider. The pivot cups they sell now accommodate the new thrust plate. Skaters with the older Thrust plate should order the SureGrip IN305 pivot cups

Pivot cup for Riedel Thrust Plate
I actually ordered another set from RollerGirl because I was in desperate need to replace both my front cups. The ones from BG hold my pivots securely and seem sturdy, unlike the second set I got from RG which were made of hard plastic and not as snug of a fit. My pivot wiggles around with those ones. Too soon to tell on durability, but I like the ones I got from BG so far.
